I’m a cheerful, extroverted, and bubbly gal who loves meeting new people and telling their stories! I may just show up to your session with donuts or some other fun breakfast food treat. Aside from being an avid breakfast connoisseur, I’m an artist, a sister, a dog-mom, and a lover of sunsets and dreamy golden hours. I was born and raised in Northern Colorado with my older brother and two wonderful parents to teach me the in’s and out’s of life and running a business! When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me pouring myself a big cup of coffee, binge-watching FRIENDS, or painting my next piece for Delaney’s Designs.
I first started playing around with photography in high school when my parents gave me my very first camera as a Christmas gift. Over the years I’ve grown to truly appreciate photography and have become so passionate about it that I decided to officially launch Delaney Morrow Photography in the Spring of 2019! Although photography was a bit newer to me at that time, running a business was something I’d be doing since I was a teenager. I’d always been artistically and creatively-driven, so much so, that I started selling my acrylic paintings to friends and family when I was 15 years old. When I got to high school, I was so busy playing three sports, managing clubs, and studying, that I didn’t have time for a regular job. So I opened up an Etsy shop called “Delaney’s Designs” and began selling my artwork there. It wasn’t until later in high school that I began to really dabble with the idea of photography. After getting my first DSLR camera for Christmas one year, I began just shooting and shooting and taking photos of my friends, and I haven’t looked back since! I’ll never forget the fun little photoshoots that my friends and I would set up in our backyards and just spend time together without a care in the world, not knowing the foundation I was building for my true passion in life.
Although I’d been doing all things creative, from running my art business on Etsy to starting my second business in photography, I’ve spent that last four years learning about the world of business! In Spring of 2021, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management from Colorado State University. I never in a million years pictured – (sorry that was corny) – myself here, but here I am camera in hand and ready to take on the world of portrait photography as a young entrepreneur! I have loved every second of this journey in finding my passion and my calling in life. I’ve been lucky enough to have learned from some of the most talented people in the industry and been able to help share some of the most incredible stories through imagery. This job is something so special and so magical and the fact that I’m able to document priceless memories that people will look back on in fifty years is the most wonderful gift.
Enough about me though. I can’t wait to meet you and learn all about you + your story!!
